China Daily is reporting that Chinese entrepreneurs are starting to strike back at US short-sellers who are profiting from making negative reports on China's start-upbusinesses.
"According to a group of 61 Chinese entrepreneurs led by Kai-Fu Lee, former head of GoogleChina, Citron Research and other similar companies have issued negative reports aboutChinese companies -- some of which have few problems or even no problems at all -- so theycould make a profit by short-selling the companies' stocks."
The report notes that big Chinese companies are not attacked because they are not easy prey.
